As President of Schneider Downs Corporate Finance and Schneider Downs’ Specialty Tax Group and Co-Chairman of the firm's Real Estate Services Industry Group, Don focuses on providing mergers and acquisitions and tax advisory services to the firm's clients. His expertise encompasses the areas of estate and business succession planning, tax planning for closely held corporations and S Corporations, ERISA, compensation planning, mergers and acquisitions, tax planning for emerging technology companies and manufacturers, venture capital and partnership taxation.
Don is a frequent contributor to business and tax publications and has served as keynote speaker for many organizations, including the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the SMC Business Councils. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations and holds Series 7, 24 and 66 Securities licenses.
