Managing Director, Schneider Downs Corporate Finance

With more than 30 years of corporate finance and executive management experience, Tricia brings significant expertise to leading client engagements. Prior to joining Schneider Downs Corporate Finance, Tricia was co-founder and Managing Director of a boutique investment banking firm, completing 80 engagements over 10 years, with closed transactions aggregating more than $300 million. Notable engagements included the sale of Harmony Castings to Ligon Industries, the acquisition by Lewis-Goetz & Company of Goodall Rubber from Trelleborg AB, the sale of AccuSpec Electronics to Main Street Capital, completion of a strategic plan for Rita’s Italian Ice, and the management buyout of Small Tube Products from Wolverine Tube.

From 1995 to 1997, Tricia was Managing Director of Financial Advisory Services for Deloitte & Touche, Ohio Valley Region, where she built a team of 6 professionals to provide corporate finance and strategic advisory services. From 1989 to 1994, she served as Senior Vice President of the Business Banking Group for Mellon Bank, leading small business lending activities across three states, with 450 professionals, a $1.2 billion loan portfolio and 44,000 customers, and generating $54 million in profits in 1994, one-sixth of Mellon’s bottom line. From 1986 to 1989, Tricia was Mellon’s Pittsburgh Regional Manager of Middle Market Lending, with responsibility for 450 clients, 60 lenders and a $500 million loan portfolio.

Tricia started her banking career in 1979 with Maryland National Bank and was an Assistant Buyer with Kaufmann’s from 1977 to 1978. She serves on the advisory board of a $350 million foreign-owned company. Tricia is currently the President of the Association of Corporate Growth, Pittsburgh Chapter. She also served on the the Association for Corporate Growth, Pittsburgh Chapter Board of Directors from 1997 to 2005 and was a founding Board Member of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence, part of the University of Pittsburgh, Katz Graduate School of Business from 1995 to 2005. She has been a speaker for the American Bankers Association, Association for Corporate Growth, Family Enterprise Center, Entrepreneurial Fellows Center, Ohio State Bar Association and Lorman Seminars, and has served as a visiting professor at Carnegie Mellon, the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University.

Tricia received a B.A. in Economics from Kenyon College, Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and pursued graduate studies in Finance at the University of Wisconsin. She holds Series 7 and 63 Securities licenses.
