Schneider Downs Announces 2010 Promotions

Pittsburgh, PA - Schneider Downs is pleased to announce that the following employees have been promoted effective August 1, 2010:
Senior Manager
Erin M. Abbot (Columbus – Audit) joined the audit team upon graduation from Ohio University in 2000. She lives in Columbus with her husband Sean and her son Lincoln. Their family just welcomed a new baby girl (Presley Starr) on July 29 to their home in Columbus.
Jennifer R. Cowles (Pittsburgh – Tax) joined Schneider Downs’ tax department in 1999 from Raboskey & Associates, where she served as controller. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Jennifer lives in Upper St. Clair and has three children.
Ann M. Giacobbi (Pittsburgh – Internal Audit) joined Schneider Downs in 2006 from KPMG, where she held the position of manager. Her prior experience also includes six years with Kennametal. Ann holds an M.B.A. from Duquesne University and a B.S. degree from Saint Vincent College. She lives in Cranberry Township.
Holly L. Russo (Pittsburgh – Internal Audit) holds a B.S. degree in accounting from the University of Maryland. Prior to joining Schneider Downs, she was self-employed as a financial consultant. Holly, her husband George and children Katherine and Joseph live in Bridgeville.
Nicole P. Saldamarco (Pittsburgh – Internal Audit) holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Duquesne University. She joined Schneider Downs in 2001 from Alliant Foodservice, where she worked as a division financial analyst for three years. Nicole, husband Michael and daughters Angelina, Christiana and Martina live in Allison Park.
E. Jack Stewart (Pittsburgh – Tax) joined the tax department in 2005 from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he served as a state and local tax specialist. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Rollins College and a certificate in accounting from Robert Morris University. Jack, his wife Sharon and children Daniel, Matthew and Scott, live in Seven Fields.
Trevor P. Warren (Columbus – Audit) graduated with a B.A. in accounting from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2001 and joined the firm shortly thereafter. Trevor, his wife Karla and son Quinnton live in Hilliard.
Manager
Jason M. Droske (Pittsburgh – Tax) joined the firm in 2009. He holds a B.S. degree in Finance from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Jason, his wife Samantha and son Jason live in Wexford.
Patrick F. Kerns (Pittsburgh – Audit) joined Schneider Downs as a member of the audit staff in September 2005 after completing his B.S. degree from Duquesne University. Patrick lives in the Borough of Pennsbury Village.
Jason L. King (Pittsburgh – Audit) graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. degree in May 2005 and joined Schneider Downs in September of the same year. Jason and his wife Cathy live in Ross Township.
Douglas J. Morally (Pittsburgh – Audit) originally joined the firm in 2004, after completing a B.S. degree from Mercyhurst College. In 2006, he accepted a position with Giant Eagle as a senior accountant. He rejoined Schneider Downs in 2007. Doug, his wife Heather, son Evan and daughter Kate live in McDonald.
Karlye N. Rowles (Pittsburgh – Marketing) has been a member of the marketing team for more than seven years. She earned her M.B.A. from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh and holds an A.B. degree from Washington University. Karlye and her husband live in Pittsburgh.
Paul D. Scherrah (Pittsburgh – Audit) joined the firm in 2008 after working for a regional accounting firm. He holds a B.A. degree in business from the University of Pittsburgh. Paul and his wife Michelle live in Cheswick.
Jeremy R. Shreve (Pittsburgh – Audit) joined the audit staff of Schneider Downs in 2005 after completing his B.S. degree in accounting from the Pennsylvania State University. Jeremy lives in Baldwin Borough.
Gina M. Walker (Pittsburgh – Human Resources) joined Schneider Downs in 2001. Prior to joining the firm, she worked with First Qualify Enterprises in State College for two years. Gina holds both a B.S. and M.B.A. from Clarion University. She and her husband Tim live in Penn Hills.
