External Validation to Internal Quality Self-Assessment
We conduct assurance reviews based on your policies, COSO guidelines, the IIA’s International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing Standards, and the IIA’s Professional Practices Framework. Using a four-step protocol, we validate whether your methodology is compliant, and assure that review results are reliable and applicable to your organization.

PLAN: Confirm focus, review work plans, assess structure of deliverables, and plan the interview/survey process.

VALIDATE: Conduct surveys/interviews to evaluate: stakeholder perceptions and expectations against the actual internal audit role, internal audit activities, working practices, organization and capabilities.

ASSESS: Review information and documentation. Conduct testing to assess quality, best practices, and adherence to the IIA Standards.

REPORT: Draft report or assist in drafting, assess report and ensure agreement prior to presentation to Board, management and stakeholders. Specific process improvement recommendations are incorporated into the report.
