Nancy Skeans Promoted to Partner at Schneider Downs Wealth Management Advisers

Schneider Downs Wealth Management Advisors, LP has announced it has promoted Managing Director Nancy Skeans, CPA, CFP®, to Partner at the Pittsburgh-based investment advisory firm. The promotion is effective July 1, 2009.
“Nancy’s promotion to partner is recognition of her hard work, her talent and the value she incorporates into her service to clients every day,” said Don Linzer, partner, Schneider Downs Wealth Management Advisors. “Her accomplishments are a reflection of her individual achievement and I am proud to call her my partner. We look forward to continued success with Nancy playing a leadership role.”
Ms. Skeans has more than 17 years of experience providing financial consulting, investment management and tax planning services to clients that have included corporate executives, high-net-worth individuals, foundations and pension plans. She manages the daily activities of the Personal Financial Services practice at the firm. In addition, she chairs the firm’s Investment Committee.
She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM Practitioner, a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, and a member of the Financial Planning Association. Ms. Skeans earned her masters degree in finance from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. She received her MBA degree in accounting from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and earned her bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the United States Air Force Academy.
