When: November 7, 2012 12:00AM

Your business runs on information, much of it confidential. Balancing the security of data and real-time access is difficult, and organizations must be committed to protecting its data from destructive forces of unauthorized users.

This free, four-hour Data Security Seminar will explore a host of topics critical to securing your company's data:

Don Owens, Shareholder, Schneider Downs will be leading this interactive educational event that will focus on a host of data security issues from different perspectives. Don has created an educational event that answers the tough questions.

Chris Watson, Senior Manager, Schneider Downs, Spencer Timmel, Executive Risk Practice, Hylant Group and Pat Cornelius, Partner, Squire Sanders, will discuss protective controls that should be in place from a technology, insurance and legal aspect.

Steve Romig, Associate Director, IT Security for The Ohio State University, will discuss managing network-based intrusion detection, incident response and conducting computer forensic investigations for a large university.

Corey Collins, Special Agent, Federal Bureau of Investigation, will provide real world examples of companies that enabled crimes to take place by under reporting data compromises, implementing poor policies or covering up known problems.

This course is designed for CIOs, CISOs, CFOs, CAEs and chief legal counsel.
