Edward has over 17 years of public accounting experience. His background includes serving a variety of clients in the construction, mining, manufacturing, transportation, nonprofit, investment and professional services industries.
Edward joined the firm in October 1996 and has progressed to the shareholder level. Edward is responsible for the management and supervision of selected audit, review and compilation engagements, which includes overseeing the preparation of and reviewing the financial statements and audit reports, including extensive knowledge of financial reporting requirements. Such responsibilities require significant planning and administrative skills, in addition to a thorough knowledge of specific financial and tax reporting practices and operating concerns of the entities served. He also maintains close contact with key members of client management.
He is a co-chairof the firm’s Energy and Resources Industry Group and a member of the Nonprofit Services Industry Group. These groups are responsible for developing specialized knowledge for these industry segments. He is also a member of the firm’s Accounting Technical Advisory Group and oversees the firm's independence compliance and monitoring program.
