Mark Shumaker Joins Schneider Downs as Marketing Manager

Mark Shumaker recently joined Schneider Downs & Co., Inc, one of the top 60 public accounting, tax and business advisory services firms in the U.S., as Marketing Manager for the Columbus office.
Mr. Shumaker will be responsible for the overall marketing functions of the office, including brand management, leadership of industry niches, coordination of seminars and events, and the development of new business proposals and other marketing materials. He brings extensive experience as both a manager and designer from his previous position as Manager, Creative Services for the Ohio Society of CPAs.
“Mark joins Schneider Downs as a uniquely qualified leader. He is an extremely talented graphic designer and art director who is proven as a team leader and manager,” explained Sean Smith, Director of Marketing, Schneider Downs. “Mark has great knowledge of the Ohio accounting industry, yet also brings a vital outside perspective to the firm, as well. He will play an essential role in the continued growth of Schneider Downs.”
Mr. Shumaker received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management from Franklin University, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts/Graphic Design degree from Bowling Green State University.
