The Pennsylvania Independent Oil & Gas Association (“PIOGA”) held its 2012 Eastern Oil & Gas Conference and Trade Show on August 28 and 29, 2012 at the Monroeville Convention Center.
The Conference portion of the event provided an excellent opportunity to gain additional insight from our local leaders relative to current developments impacting the industry.
These eleven sessions, which ranged in length from 45 minutes to one hour, provided valuable information not only to producers but also to vendors that support the industry. The Revenue and Royalty Accounting seminar conducted by McGuire Woods was especially interesting. You can view the presentations at the PIOGA website by clicking the following link: Oil & Gas Conference Presentations.
The Trade Show portion of the event was full two days compared to one and a half days in prior years. The Trade Show was well attended by both potential customers looking for practical solutions for their businesses and vendors.
However, my favorite part of the conference and trade show was the opportunity to make new acquaintances and reconnect with friends and customers.
