Schneider Downs Recognized by INSIDE Public Accounting as an Industry Leader

Schneider Downs Climbs to #57 on Top 100 Firms List for 2014

PITTSBURGH— Schneider Downs, one of the 60 largest certified public accounting and business advisory firms in the United States, was once again named to INSIDE Public Accounting’s (IPA) Top 100 List.  The firm ranked #57 on the IPA Top 100 list, up from #58 in 2013.

Published by The Platt Group, the annual industry ranking is based on U.S. revenues.  In its 24^th year, the IPA 100 report continues to be one of the most comprehensive of its kind and accurately reflects the 100 largest accounting firms in the country.  The report also provides a thorough overview of the accounting industry.

“The further we get from the recession, the greater the number of IPA 100 firms we see with positive growth,” says Kelly Platt, principal of the Platt Group, the publisher of IPA. “Ninety-two of the IPA 100 experienced positive organic growth (excluding the effects of mergers) this last fiscal year – a significant improvement over the past five years,” she says.
