Ted Pettko Elected COPAS of Appalachia President

Ted Pettko - Petroleum Accountants CouncilTed Pettko, Audit Shareholder at Schneider Downs, has been elected President of the Council of Petroleum Accountants Society (COPAS) of Appalachia.

COPAS’ mission is to increase knowledge and interest of accounting in the oil and gas industries, while preserving and enforcing accounting rules, methods, regulations and maintaining ethical standards. COPAS has approximately 4,000 members nationwide. As President, Ted will be responsible for running meetings, appointing committees and designating members to represent the Society. He has been a member of COPAS for over three years and previously served as the organization’s Vice President.

Ted joined Schneider Downs in 1997 and has experience serving natural resources, construction, not-for-profit and government clients.

Ted serves as a member of the Energy and National Resources and Construction Industry Groups.  He is also a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, Committee Member of Laurel Highlands Council of the Boy Scouts of America and Board Member of Every Child, Inc.  He holds his B.A. from St. Vincent College.
