Stephen Thimons Earns Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Designation

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) awarded Stephen Thimons, a Business Advisors Manager at Schneider Downs & Co., Inc., the globally preferred Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential. In order to become a CFE, Mr. Thimons has met a stringent set of criteria and passed a rigorous exam administered by the ACFE.
Mr. Thimons has successfully met the ACFE’s character, experience and education requirements for the CFE credential, and has demonstrated knowledge in four areas critical to the fight against fraud: Fraudulent Financial Transactions, Fraud Prevention and Deterrence, Legal Elements of Fraud and Fraud Investigation.
Mr. Thimons has more than 10 years of experience in providing business advisory services. He has significant litigation support experience, specifically the determination of damages in commercial litigation including intellectual property infringement, breach-of-contract and business interruption. Mr. Thimons also holds the Accredited Valuation Analyst (AVA) designation.
