Schneider Downs Wealth Management Advisors Announce New Hire

PITTSBURGH—Schneider Downs Wealth Management Advisors, LP, a top-25 CPA-based wealth management advisory firm in the United States, recently announced the addition of Derek J. Eichelberger, CFA®, CFP®, AIFA®, as Director of Investment Strategy with the firm.

Mr. Eichelberger has more than 17 years of experience in the financial services industry and has advised high-net-worth individuals, foundations, endowments and retirement plans on a broad list of topics, including: asset allocation, investment policy design, portfolio management, investment manager due diligence, and financial planning.  In his role as Director of Investment Strategy, Mr. Eichelberger is responsible for the firm’s investment strategy, due diligence process and research agenda and is chair of the Schneider Downs Wealth Management Advisors Investment Committee.  In addition, he will be working in an advisory role and will be responsible for managing all aspects of his client relationships.

Mr. Eichelberger is a CFA® charterholder, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^TM practitioner, an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst^TM, a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), and a member of the Pittsburgh Society of Financial Analysts.  He has an M.B.A. in Finance from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. Derek also holds a B.S. in Business from the Smeal College of Business at Penn State University.
