Getting Beyond "Innovation"

Exploring the challenges faced by all organizations in today's complex world- from Navy SEALs to the world's top surgical teams and Fortune 500 companies- Arena Labs CEO and founder Brian Ferguson explores the complexity posed by accelerating technology. Brian argues that while most organizations are enamored with technological innovation, reducing risk and paving future success will be built on understanding high performing teams and human innovation.
Brian has spent the past 15 years working alongside leaders and decision makers in national security, military and technology. As the CEO of Arena Labs, he works with a wide range of hospitals, businesses and global institutions to understand how to balance modern technology solutions with the age-old first principles of "high performance." Prior to founding Arena Labs, he was a Presidential Appointee in the Office of the Secretary of Defense where he focused on U.S. national security and defense policy-making. Brian also served as a U.S. Navy SEAL. He is currently on faculty at Singularity University in Silicon Valley and works with Fortune 500 leaders on challenges related to accelerating technology, innovation and strategy.
