Affordable Care Act - New Reporting Requirement for 2015
 
The enactment of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) on March 23, 2010 ushered in sweeping changes to the U.S. health care system. The law has touched almost every aspect of our health care system. Our seminar will address the following:

  • Who is an "Applicable Large Employer"
  • Who is an "Applicable Large Employer Member," including a discussion of common ownership and the "Controlled Group" rules
  • How to determine full-time employee status and how to determine the number of full-time employees

Fraud in the Dealership
 
Automobile dealerships must be committed in their fight against fraud by continuously assessing the strength and reliability of their internal controls. We will review recent fraud statistics and provide real world examples of fraud schemes perpetrated at dealerships. We will also discuss the steps in conducting a fraud investigation.
 
Cyber Security Threats
 
Cyber attacks are threats to all automobile dealerships regardless of size and preventive measures in place. We will provide critical insights on cyber security trends and best practices, as well as establishing comprehensive response plans in the event of a breach.
