Mergers and Acquisitions for Nonprofit Organizations

When: June 5, 2012 12:00AM

It's important to plan for the long-term future of your nonprofit organization. Many central Ohio nonprofits are feeling pressure from a host of issues, including an aging population, a decrease in revenue and increase in costs and dwindling resources. Every organization should understand their options, including merging with, or acquiring another nonprofit organization.

This panel discussion will focus on the long-term future opportunities that nonprofit organizations need to consider when contemplating merging or acquiring another nonprofit entity. Topics to be discussed include:

  • A review of the current environment in which nonprofits operate.
  • A look at the various reasons for considering merging or acquiring nonprofit organizations.
  • Options that organizations must think about when considering merging or acquiring another nonprofit.
  • Issues that should be investigated when considering merging or acquiring nonprofits.

If you are a CFO, executive director, or board member of a nonprofit organization, you will benefit from this panel discussion.
