Schneider Downs Introduces New Cybersecurity Awareness Month Resources

The Schneider Downs cybersecurity practice is introducing several new cybersecurity awareness resources for the 18th annual Cybersecurity Awareness Month.

Cybersecurity Awareness Month takes place annually every October and is a joint effort between the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) and the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). The initiative was introduced in 2003 to help ensure Americans have the resources to keep themselves secure online at work and home. The theme for this year is a continuation of 2020’s “Do Your Part. #BeCyberSmart” narrative.

In support of the Federal initiative, the Schneider Downs cybersecurity practice is introducing several new resources over the course of October to help educate and protect clients and communities from cyber threats.

“Cybersecurity Awareness Month is when the spotlight is on cybersecurity, but we know first-hand that threat actors are attacking targets of all sizes every month, week, day, hour and minute,” said Eric Wright, Shareholder. “Educating end users is a critical first step in any organization’s cybersecurity posture and we hope our resources can help everyone to some degree.”

The new Cybersecurity Awareness Month open-access resources are available at www.schneiderdowns.com/ncsam and include:
