New structure consolidates more than 80 existing services into an integrated practice
March 3, 2021 – Today, Schneider Downs announced the reorganization of more than 80 unique services into a consolidated practice, Schneider Downs Consulting. This practice will operate in conjunction with Schneider Downs’ traditional accounting and tax services, one of the 60 largest practices in the United States.
The reorganization reflects the increasing impact of business consulting services to the firm’s continued growth. The services provided by Schneider Downs Consulting are not new to the firm, but rather existing and emerging services that have been reorganized into logical groupings to provide greater clarity of the firm’s broad scope of available services.
“Schneider Downs has a 65-year history of adding services and capabilities to help meet the ever-emerging needs of our clients,” explained Steven D. Thompson, Co-CEO of Schneider Downs. “As these services continued to proliferate and expand, it became apparent that they should be organized in such a manner that streamlines the process for prospective clients to discover them.”
Under the Schneider Downs Consulting platform, more than 80 services are organized into three categories:
Risk Advisory – including services such as IT Risk Advisory, Enterprise Risk Management, SOC Compliance and Third-Party Risk Management
Technology Advisory – including services such as Cybersecurity, Business Process Automation (BPA), Data Analytics and Software Solutions
Financial Advisory – including services such as Accounting Advisory, Transaction Advisory, Business Consulting and Investment Banking
“Many of these services are not traditional to accounting and tax firms, yet they are absolutely essential for businesses operating in today’s rapidly changing world,” explained Chris S.
