The Schneider Downs Auto Industry Advisors were out in full force for the Greater Pittsburgh Automobile Dealers Association (GPADA) golf outing at the Longue Vue Country Club on Monday, August 12th. Our foursome included Paul Matvey, Henry Szymanski, Bob Bandi and me. We each contributed to the score of 2 under par. Caddyshack’s Ty Webb once answered the question, “How do you measure yourself against other golfers?” by responding “by height.” This held true, as Paul, being the tallest player on our team, was our ringer for the day. Henry’s putting prowess helped us with the part of the game that is found the most difficult by some. He even won the longest putt in one of the skill competitions. Bob came through when we needed him most. Also, my improvement throughout the day helped us down the stretch.
All in all, it was a great day for golf. The weather cooperated, our team worked together, and we were able to connect with a variety of our long-time clients and acquaintances.
We would like to thank the GPADA for the great opportunity and are glad to contribute to the great cause by donating to their Charitable Foundation.
PS… We do not have to wait until next year to play. Who’s up for another 18 holes?
