October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month!

October is right around the corner and that means Cybersecurity Awareness Month is back to help raise awareness on the importance of cybersecurity across the nation.

Since 2004, the President of the United States and Congress have declared October to be Cybersecurity Awareness Month, helping individuals protect themselves online as threats to technology and confidential data become more commonplace. 

In support of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the Schneider Downs cybersecurity team is introducing several new security awareness and educational resources including a  new video series which answers the top cybersecurity questions of the past year.

Video Series: The Top Cybersecurity Questions of 2022

Members of the Schneider Downs cybersecurity and IT risk advisory teams share some of the top cybersecurity questions they have encountered over the past year in our new video series. 

Cybersecurity Shareholder Carl Kriebel, kicks off the video series with a discussion on how to mitigate supply chain and third-party risk.

Topics include cybersecurity framework selection, businesss continuity plannning, callback phishing and tabletop exercises. Be sure to keep an eye out on our social channels for new videos throughout October.
