|Schneider Downs Alumni in Pittsburgh||Cocktail Reception in Columbus|
Attendance in both cities was among the highest-ever for the firm’s annual event. In his opening remarks, Schneider Downs President and CEO Ray Buehler noted that the high turnout was indicative of the enormous interest the business world has on issues relating to the current economy and looming “fiscal cliff” scenario.
The events in Columbus and Pittsburgh each offered four hours of CPE, covering topics including:
- Federal Tax Update
- Accounting Standards Update
- Fraud and Risk Assessment, and
- 2013 Economic Preview
A common theme across all presentations is that all issues involving the current economy will continue to change. The importance of staying up to date with the latest developments has become vital…and perhaps a bit challenging.
Schneider Downs will continue to share updates, information and analysis as we conclude 2012 and enter 2013.
