On Wednesday, August 18, Schneider Downs will host its Annual Nonprofit Symposium at the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. This year, we are introducing an entirely new format.
Why the change? After our 2009 Symposium, we felt it was important to survey nonprofits in the Columbus business community to find out how we could continue to make the most of this event. We asked, nonprofit organizations answered, and we responded.
The Schneider Downs Nonprofit Industry Group is pleased to announce that we have built a Symposium around the unique needs, issues and schedule challenges that nonprofit organizations face. We’ve separated the day out into sessions, so you may attend for the whole day or for the session(s) that works for and is of interest to you.
Also, we’ve invited leaders from some of Central Ohio’s leading nonprofit organizations to address their “Stories of Success.”
From 12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m., Kurt Anders, Chief Operating Officer, American Red Cross of Greater Columbus; Matt Habash, President and CEO, Mid-Ohio Foodbank; and Steve Votaw, Chief Executive Officer, Directions for Youth and Families, will share insight into innovative efforts to lead successful charges for their organizations.
It’s an opportunity to learn from their stories.
It’s a Symposium that will offer nonprofit sector updates, insights and best practices for your organization.
It’s your chance to get connected to the information your organization needs as well as network with more than 60 members from the nonprofit business community.
So join us. We would be honored to host you at our Annual Nonprofit Symposium.
