Every working day, businesses and organizations are threatened by hackers and cyber criminals. More than 80 million cyber attacks occur each year...that's more than 300 per minute of every day. As many as 70% of these attacks actually go unnoticed.
It seems fitting, then, that Homeland Security has designated October as National Cyber Security Awareness Month. The month will focus on the importance of safeguarding personal and confidential data.
In recognition of Cyber Security Month, Schneider Downs is launching an educational initiative to provide one proactive tip about cyber security during each workday of the month. We'd like to invite you to register to receive these free emails, which will be sent each weekday morning in October. Through client surveys and discussions, we’re aware that topics related to IT Security continue to be on the front burner for many organizations. We believe our daily tips will provide relevant and helpful information to address many of these concerns.
If you would like to receive our daily messages during October, simply complete this brief registration form below and we'll put you on our list.
