Ross joined the firm in 2019 as a Tax Shareholder. He has more than 20 years of public accounting experience, including four years implementing ERP systems. Prior to joining Schneider Downs, Ross was a Partner at a large national public accounting firm.
Ross provides research and development credit and incentive services to companies in a wide variety of industries. In his current role, Ross assists companies with the entire life cycle of claiming and sustaining research and development credits and incentives including estimating the benefit for any open tax periods, discussing qualified research activities with technical professionals from your organization, quantifying qualified research expenditures, calculating and documenting the benefits, and if necessary, defending your benefits upon examination. Ross has historically served companies in the following industries: manufacturing, technology/software development, engineering/construction, banking/finance, biotech/pharmaceutical, transportation/logistics, apparel/retail, and food/beverage.
His knowledge and experience with research incentives helps his clients to maximize and sustain their benefits.
