PITTSBURGH, PA-- Schneider Downs, one of the top 60 certified public accounting and business advisory firms in the United States, is expanding its leadership team with the naming of four shareholders. This is the firm’s largest expansion of shareholder leadership since 1998.
Effective July 1, 2017, Steven A. Barber, Jason M. Lumpkin, Trevor P. Warren and Lauren E. Weddell have been named shareholder.

Steven A. Barber, CPA (Pittsburgh, PA), joined Schneider Downs in 2003 as a tax staff. Steven more than 15 years of experience in all areas of tax planning, research and compliance, accounting and financial reporting matters for closely held businesses. Steven will continue to help grow our automotive client practice. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Taxation from the University of Denver. Steven is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and is a member of the Schneider Downs auto dealers advisors and the cost segregation study strategy team.
Jason M. Lumpkin, QKA (Pittsburgh, PA), has more than 15 years of qualified retirement plan experience, primarily serving small and middle-market businesses through Schneider Downs Advantage Retirement Solutions group. Jason joined Schneider Downs in 2000 after receiving his B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. His background includes plan design, documentations and on-going administration of qualified retirement plans. Jason holds QKA (Qualified 401(k) Administrator) credentials from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.
Trevor P. Warren, CPA (Columbus, OH), joined the Schneider Downs audit department shortly after receiving his B.A. in Accounting from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2001. Trevor has extensive experience with audit, review and compilation engagements. Trevor is member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Construction Financial Management Association, Builders Exchange of Central Ohio and Ohio Contractors Association and serves as Board Treasurer of the U.S. Green Building Council – Central Ohio Chapter.
Lauren E. Weddell, CPA (Pittsburgh, PA), has more than 10 years of experience servicing various clients in the manufacturing, construction, nonprofit, education and professional services industries. She joined the Schneider Downs audit department in 2004 after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting. She is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. Lauren also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Manchester Bidwell Corporation and is a Leadership Development Initiative XXIII Graduate.
