Timothy D. Adams CPA

Tim is a tax shareholder with over 20 years of experience working with clients relative to their state and local tax opportunities and issues. His primary focus is in multi-state income/franchise taxes, sales/use taxes, gross receipts taxes, unclaimed property, personal property taxes and incentives/credits.

Tim is an experienced tax and business advisor providing clients with timely and value-added advice regarding ever-changing state and local tax laws and regulations, as well as, developments resulting from state and local tax court decisions.

His experience includes successfully assisting or representing taxpayers in various state and local tax matters in nearly every state across the country. Specifically, this experience includes audit representation and appeals, refund analyses and other multi-state tax planning and consulting that has added significant value to Tim’s clients.

Tim instructs the firm’s personnel in multi-state tax issues and developments impacting Schneider Downs’ clients and speaks externally to groups or conferences on state and local tax topics affecting taxpayers across the country.
