Adam Goode Named to Young Leaders List
The Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) recognized Adam J. Goode, CPA, with a Young Leaders Award for 2015-2016. He received this distinction for demonstrated leadership skills that will propel his success in a profession committed to protecting the public interest.
Goode, of Allison Park, Pa., is an audit manager with Schneider Downs & Co. Inc. in Pittsburgh. He is an active member of the PICPA Pittsburgh Chapter Cooperation with the Bar Committee, which builds relationships between CPAs and attorneys, and opens communication channels with local and state bar associations. He is also active with the chapter’s Emerging CPAs Committee, which plans social events and community service projects for the chapter to promote networking and business development in a fun environment among members.
The PICPA’s Young Leaders Award program recognizes members under the age of 40 who demonstrate a commitment to the CPA profession through active PICPA or community volunteer leadership.
“This year’s group of Young Leaders have already shown great promise. We are excited to see what they will achieve with the PICPA, in their personal careers, and in their communities in the years to come,” says Julius C. Green, PICPA president.
