Patrick Armknecht Named Shareholder

Schneider Downs, one of the top-55 certified public accounting and business advisory firms in the United States, is proud to announce that Patrick B. Armknecht has been named shareholder, effective July 1, 2016. He will be responsible for assisting the growth of the firm’s expanding technology advisory services group.

Patrick B. Armknecht, CPA, CITP, joined Schneider Downs in 1998 and has more than 23 years of accounting and technology consulting experience in corporate accounting, internal audit, public accounting, project management and software implementation. As a member of the technology group, Mr. Armknecht works to provide tailored software and technology solutions for the firm’s client base, including those in the manufacturing, distribution, hospitality, not-for-profit and professional service industries.

Additionally, Mr. Armknecht is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, as well as an American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Certified Information Technology (CITP) credential holder. He serves as treasurer of Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh’s board of directors and is a member of the Cranberry Township Heart Walk Executive Leadership Team 2015 and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

Mr. Armknecht received his B.S. in Business Administration, emphasis in Accounting, from West Virginia University.
