Schneider Downs cordially invites you to attend our 2015 Automotive Dealership Educational Seminar. This free, four-hour seminar will explore a host of compliance topics critical to your dealership's success.

This course is designed for those in your auto dealership's business office, including owners, management and office managers.

We recognize that dealing with state and local taxes can be expensive and confusing due to complex and ever-changing laws and regulations. Jack Stewart, Schneider Downs State and Local Tax Senior Manager, and Matt Dodge, Schneider Downs State and Local Tax Manager, will provide an update on sales and use taxes.

Tracy Null, VP of Business Development at Sentric, will address compliance issues with the taxing authorities and the Department of Labor. She will help you stay abreast of the happenings in the payroll world.  Tracy will also provide an update on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

If you are a dealer providing demos to employees, you need to comply with the IRS income tax rules regarding personal use. Kathy Petrucci, Schneider Downs Tax Shareholder, will address the different calculation methods available to dealers, discuss how to develop a formal dealership demo policy and discuss how to calculate the taxable inclusion amount for employees using demos.

Ken Wible and Adam Crowell, Premier Data Management, will discuss the ever-growing importance of document retention and safeguarding within the dealership environment.
