Dennis Mowrey Joins Schneider Downs as Tax Director

Delivers 30 years of experience to expanding tax advisory group

COLUMBUS, OH – September 20, 2011 - Schneider Downs & Co., Inc, one of the top 60 public accounting, tax and business advisory services firms in the U.S., recently appointed Dennis R. Mowrey as Tax Director.

Mr. Mowrey brings more than 30 years of tax experience to Schneider Downs in the areas of Tax Compliance and Tax Planning, including working with C-corporations, S-Corporations, partnerships and individuals. He has extensive experience in the areas of manufacturing, healthcare, retail, restaurant and software industries. In his new role as Tax Director, Mr. Mowrey will continue to serve clients and assist the firm in developing new client opportunities in these industries.

Prior to joining Schneider Downs, Mr. Mowrey served as a tax accountant in the Columbus area for both national and regional firms, and also worked in the tax departments for Marathon Oil Company and Lancaster Colony Corporation. He is a frequent speaker and contributor on tax-related topics for various organizations.

Dennis Mowrey received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Bowling Green State University. He currently serves as Treasurer of the Board for The Arthritis Foundation, and he serves on the Finance Committee for Berlin Township of Delaware County. He is also a volunteer with the American Red Cross and Juvenile Diabetes of Central Ohio.
