Schneider Downs Director of Strategic Tax Planning, Ron Kramer, CPA, will present a post-2012 election legislative update that will examine actual and potential tax legislation during the “lame duck” session of Congress. Ron will also discuss the prospects for major tax reform in 2013 based on the results of the 2012 Presidential and Congressional elections.

The View from the Fiscal Cliff: Economic Update and Thoughts on 2013 and Beyond
Are we past the downturn? Where might the investment markets go from here? Schneider Downs Wealth management Advisors Partner Nancy Skeans, CPA, CFP®,  will update us on the current issues affecting all investment portfolios. Nancy's presentation will include:
• A common-sense assessment of the current economic environment.
• The cause of the day-to-day volatility in the investment markets.
• A look into the cloudy crystal ball for the next 3 to 5 years.

Accounting Standards Update
Schneider Downs Accounting, Assurance and Advisory Services Shareholder John Null, CPA, will review the latest accounting and auditing updates affecting our region’s businesses and organizations.  John will place special emphasis on the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) lease accounting guideline integration.
