Rich is a senior financial and operations executive with over 40 years of experience in solving complex problems for distribution, manufacturing and non-profit organizations.  He has served for over 25 years as a CFO for distribution and international consumer products manufacturing companies.  His skills include the normal CFO roles of treasury, financing, planning, accounting, banking relations and risk management.  In addition, his diverse experience also includes intimate knowledge of the proper deployment of information technologies, investment management including portfolio construction, employee benefit plans, HR management, corporate restructuring including acquisitions and divestitures, customer fulfillment systems, shop floor productivity, incentive compensation systems and intellectual property issues.  He also has unique management perspectives garnered from service on multiple boards with for profit and non-profit entities.

Prior to joining Schneider Downs, Rich served as CFO and board member for a large consumer branded manufacturing company with operations in the USA, Europe and Asia with customers in over 150 countries.  In addition Rich has served as a CFO for a Pittsburgh based distribution and health care solutions company, as a senior manager at a large national public accounting firm, and as a manager at a custom plastic foam molder with headquarters in the Beaver Valley.

Rich has also served as board member, chair of the finance committee and member of the executive committee of the Upper Allegheny Health system.  During his time with UAHS he participated in the decision and process to affiliate with a larger health care concern to remain a viable healthcare concern for their respective region.  Among other board memberships include the Treasurer of the Bradford Office of Economic and Community Development, Bradford Area School Board, Beaver County Management Club and other faith based organizations.

Rich’s broad skill set, experience in solving a multitude of difficult corporate situations and ability to build teams of high performing professionals forms the framework from which he delivers high quality services to our clients.
