Schneider Downs Announces Expansion of Management Team

 PITTSBURGH—Schneider Downs, one of the 60 largest certified public accounting and business advisory firms in the United States, is pleased to announce the following additions to our management team. 

Jennifer L. Zatchey, CPA, Audit Senior Manager

Ms. Zatchey has over 10 years of experience as an audit senior manager at a national accounting firm. During her tenure, Ms. Zatchey managed and directed audits of companies with revenues exceeding $10 billion in various industries such as healthcare, insurance, biotechnology, private equity venture funds and sports entertainment. She will serve Schneider Downs in a similar capacity, working with clients in the firm’s growing large- and mid-market company practice.

Ms. Zatchey received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland.

Justin C. Steele, Esq., Tax Senior Manager

Mr. Steele is an experienced tax professional and attorney with over 10 years of experience working at a national accounting firm, regional law firm and large corporation. He has a strong understanding of the corporate tax life cycle and has assisted in multiple tax planning strategies. He will work with a broad spectrum of clients in the firm’s corporate tax practice.

Mr. Steele attended the University of Pittsburgh where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Business, Accounting. He then received his Juris Doctorate at Duquesne University.

 

Kirk Mitchell, CPA, MST, MBA, Tax Senior Manager

Mr. Mitchell has over 15 years of experience and has spent his tenure working in tax compliance, provision and research. Prior to Schneider Downs, Mr. Mitchell worked at a Western PA based accounting firm, followed by two large corporations where he was responsible for prepping and completing tax provisions, returns and more. At Schneider Downs, he will work directly with the firm’s tax clients, and also serve as a firm resource for technical issues.

Mr. Mitchell received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and his Master of Science in Taxation from Robert Morris University. He also has his Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Mitchell is a member of the AICPA, PICPA and Allegheny Tax Society.
